Insurance Coverage
Dr. Spencer Works With Many Providers
Please bring your insurance card to your first visit so we can verify your insurance information.
Insurance & Payment Information
We accept many insurance plans like Blue Cross, CIGNA, Medicare, First Health, Harvard Pilgrim, Coventry, Mail Handlers, and PHCS.
Because insurance coverage for chiropractic care may vary depending on deductibles, co-pays, referral requirements, and plan limitations, benefits can vary. We always recommend confirming your chiropractic coverage directly with your insurance provider before scheduling.
Dr. Spencer will gladly help answer general insurance questions, but your insurance company can confirm your exact benefits.
Self-Pay & Payment Options
Some patients use insurance, while others prefer self-pay. If your plan does not include chiropractic coverage, self-pay options are available. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been discussed.
Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) may also be used when eligible under your plan.
If you have questions before scheduling, the office can help you understand what information may be needed.
Medicare & Supplemental Insurance
Dr. Spencer is a participating provider when Medicare is your primary insurance and Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, United American, Blue Cross, or other is your supplemental insurance.
If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, chiropractic coverage depends on your specific carrier and plan, so benefits should be verified before your visit.
Uninsured / Self-Insured?
Dr. Spencer understands that some patients in need of chiropractic care are not covered by health insurance. That’s why his rates are reasonable and affordable for most. Plus, you can be assured that he does not automatically prescribe a series of visits for cookie cutter treatments. His goal is to get you feeling better in as few treatments as possible and once you are feeling much better he lets you decide when to come back for future visits.
